ChefSmart Foods is a Philadelphia-based wholesale food distributor focused on providing reliable service and quality products to kitchens and businesses across the region. The goal of the brand was to create something bold, recognizable, and professional while still feeling approachable and rooted in the food industry.
Brief
The project started with the need for a strong visual identity that could represent ChefSmart across multiple touchpoints — from trucks and packaging to digital platforms and marketing materials. The client wanted something that felt clean and trustworthy but also had personality, tying into the culinary world without feeling overly traditional or outdated.
Solution
I developed a logo system built around a custom “C” mark paired with a chef-inspired visual element to reinforce the food-focused identity. The blue and yellow color palette was chosen to balance professionalism with energy, helping the brand stand out in a competitive wholesale market. The system was designed to be flexible across print, web, and vehicle graphics, ensuring consistency whether seen on delivery trucks, digital layouts, or branded materials.
