About

Blended Joe started as a small-batch coffee brand built around one simple idea: coffee brings people together. What began with online orders and custom blends grew into a full brand rooted in community, quality, and personality. Every roast is crafted in South Jersey with specialty-grade beans, but beyond the product itself, Blended Joe represents connection, creativity, and shared moments over a cup of coffee.

Brief

When I joined Blended Joe in 2020, the goal was to build a visual identity that felt warm, welcoming, and instantly recognizable. The brand needed more than just packaging — it needed a full visual system that could grow across coffee bags, K-Cups, menus, signage, retail boxes, and eventually a storefront. Each flavor had its own vibe, but everything still had to feel like one cohesive brand.

Solution

I developed a complete visual identity system built around strong typography, warm tones, playful illustrations, and consistent brand elements that tie everything together. Every flavor received its own personality and color palette while staying within a unified design language. As the brand expanded into its first physical location, the visual system seamlessly carried over into signage, in-store materials, and environmental branding — turning Blended Joe from a product into a full experience.
